Margo was born in northern Wisconsin, but she has journeyed far from her Midwestern roots to live an exciting and fulfilling life in the service of others. She has taught stress management to the executives of major U.S. corporations, including General Motors and McDonnell Douglas; she has taught meditation to individuals and groups as far away as Egypt, India, and the Philippines, and yoga to those seeking health and relaxation as close as our very own Boone. Margo was the top sales person for Books Are Fun for many years, as well as a top producer for Taylor Group, a recruiting firm originally out of Greensboro.
Long before alternative health care became in vogue, Margo started and managed an alternative health center in Palm Beach FL. In 1996, Margo came to Blowing Rock to visit a friend. It was then that the magic and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains so seduced her that she decided to put down roots in this area. She became a sales manager for a high-end resort in Boone, and then became owner/broker in charge of Lenmark Properties in 1997.
